Ivan Geshev is a former Prosecutor General of the Republic of Bulgaria (2019 – 2023), Deputy Prosecutor General at the Supreme Cassation Prosecutor`s Office with rank of Prosecutor at the Supreme Cassation Prosecutor`s Office and the Supreme Administrative Prosecutor’s Office (2018 – 2020), Head of the Specialized Prosecutor`s Office (2016 – 2018), Prosecutor (2006 – 2018). He has experience as operative officer and investigator (1994 – 2006).

He has a master degree in Law from the MOI Academy in Sofia.
